It’s that time of year again when we pack up our bags and hit the road. That’s right – we’re taking Tyk back on tour to get out there and see some of our favourite people. (That’s you by the way…)
Last year we visited 12 cities across 8 countries, all within 12 months. By the end of it, we may have had no idea what our name was and which time zone we were in, but it was worth it. We met over 130 API enthusiasts, learnt a hell of a lot about the exciting projects our users are working on and had lots of fun in the process. So why wouldn’t we repeat it?
Except this year, we’re not just repeating it. We’re going bigger! As well as continuing to run our own API Management introductory workshop, the API Surgery, we’ll also be hosting deep-dive sessions on some of our most-asked-about topics and sharing knowledge, and in new locations too.
As per usual, we’ll also be popping up at community conferences and meet-ups, where we can support some of the kick-ass work you’re creating. Do you run a local meet-up and would like us to be involved? We can help with speakers, space, or snacks – just give us a shout with a bit of info about the event, and tell us why you’d like us to get involved.
And, a final note that’s worth mentioning again: our annual Tyk tours are open to anyone interested in APIs, not just our users. Whether you use our open source API Gateway, or someone else’s, if you’ve never even heard of Tyk, or you’re an expert, we’d love to see you at one of our API events in 2019.
