Our Mission

The internet started by connecting mainframes, by the end of the 20th century 600m desktop and laptop computers exchanged email and web-traffic. Today around 15 billion ‘things’ are connected to the internet, growing at a rate of a billion per year. Tyk are committed to enabling interconnectivity between systems and between devices. We’ve started by building an API Management platform.

What can you do with us?

Tyk is growing! We’re looking for a Regional Talent Manager in Atlanta to manage our recruitment process for all US and Americas roles. You will be our Tyk ambassador and employer brand ambassador in the US, responsible for attracting the best talent to help grow the US Tyk team.

Here’s what you’ll be getting up to:

  • Cover all our US and Americas roles – This includes headhunting, advertising job roles, interviewing candidates and filling our hires.
  • Headhunt ferociously for candidates. In a perfect world we would like 90% of our resources to come from your strong headhunting skills.
  • Liaise with the Head of Talent to better understand our hiring plans for the year and plan your workload accordingly.
  • Networking and building relationships with key candidates and target organisations to identify potential hires, before we need them and building call lists to contact individuals when we require new staff.
  • Attend events, meetups, coffees that will promote Tyk as the best remote place to work – because it really is!
  • Identify market gaps and identify trends with strong data points in mind
  • Build strong relationships within Tyk and more specifically your team in the US to understand their roles and work through their ‘pain points’. You can do this by occasionally visiting the office in Atlanta to get to know your peers a bit better.
  • Help build a unique working culture in our Atlanta office with the support from the Ops team
  • Plan and address potential risks/challenges in the US recruitment sector
  • Conduct well structured interviews and manage the interview process from start to finish
  • Do all the necessary candidate checks to ensure they have the right to work
  • Articulate our value proposition as well as US benefits to candidates
  • Guide our new members’ through their onboarding process
  • Research new avenues to attract and retain talent

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience in a Talent Acquisition Manager role in the tech space, ideally in-house
  • Have a strong understanding of the US tech talent market
  • Proven experience headhunting top talent and managing the full cycle recruitment process
